The wage price index lifted by 0.55% over the December quarter, leaving the increase on a year  at 2.08%.

The annual rate was the fastest in two years, and above the record-low of 1.88% struck in the final quarter of 2016.

But not everyone’s pay went up.  While public sector works did well, the rest of us had to make do with just 1.93% over the same period.

But where are the jobs that did well?
